J. Richard McVay

 

Rick is a shareholder of the Firm and practices in the areas of individual, partnership, and corporate taxation, estate planning, probate, trusts and general corporate law.  Mr. McVay is a 1983 graduate of Texas Tech University School of Law, and a 1983 graduate of Texas Tech University Graduate School where he received the degree of Master of Business Administration.  Mr. McVay earned his B.B.A. degree in Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1980.  He is a past president, director, and current member of the Arlington Bar Association, is a member of the Tarrant County Bar Association, and the State Bar of Texas Sections on Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law, and Taxation Law.  Mr. McVay is also a member of Rotary International, Past President of Arlington Sunrise Rotary, director of the Arlington Women’s Shelter, and has previously served on several other local charitable boards.  Mr. McVay is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Texas, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, and the United States Tax Court.
